History
During his tenure at the Kewalran Chanrai group in Nigeria, the current CEO of Super Cereals spearheaded the introduction of cottonseed cake into the South African agricultural sector. This initiative arose due to the surplus production of cottonseed from two oil mills owned by the multinational conglomerate Chanrai/Olam in Nigeria at that time.
Over time, the same business venture in South Africa underwent several transitions under different entities, including Chanrai South Africa, Grindrod (Durban, South Africa), and Hakan Group (Dubai, UAE). Eventually, in 2018, it was acquired by the private investment equity firm Afri Global.
Presently, the leadership of both Super Cereals and Super Oil Mills in South Africa and abroad is overseen by Ashutosh Shrivastava and Colin Cameron, serving as the current directors. Their support staff continues to operate under this administration.
Super Cereals takes full control of the logistics process, encompassing container loading, shipping, transportation, and distribution to customers both domestically and internationally. We pride ourselves in ensuring timely delivery and upholding the highest standards and specifications for the products we supply to each customer. Additionally, we effectively manage and facilitate all production from the Limpopo based refinery, Super Oil Mills, encompassing cottonseed cake, cottonseed husks, and refined oils.
